Attachment Description
The JCB Crusher Bucket is a hydraulically operated attachment. It is used to crush and reduce the volume of inert demolition material. A hydraulic motor inside the bucket receives an oil supply from the carrier machines auxiliary hydraulic circuit. The motor causes the upper jaw to move against the fixed lower jaw to crush the material. Pieces of hard material (e.g. Quartz) can be crushed provided that they are at least 50% smaller than the jaw aperture X. When crushing pieces of semi-hard material (e.g. Calcite), they must be at least 30% smaller than the jaw aperture.
The attachment may be installed on any carrier machine which meets the necessary mechanical and hydraulic installation requirements.
Model and Serial Number
The attachment has an identification plate Y which is located on one of the side plates. The model and serial number of the attachment are stamped on the plate. Always quote the serial number when obtaining replacement parts.
