About this Manual

To operate a JCB De-Luxe Sweeper Collector efficiently and safely you must know the equipment and have the skill to use it. You must also be a competent operator of the appropriate JCB Carrier.
This manual instructs you on the JCB De-Luxe Sweeper Collector and its safe operation and maintenance. Although some guidance on using the equipment is given, if you are a new operator, get yourself trained in the skills of using an Earth Drill before trying to work with it. If you don’t, you will not do your job well, and you will be a danger to yourself and others.

JCB De-Luxe Sweeper Collector attachments are available in two styles:

Style 1, available in one size for use with the JCB Robot Skid Steer Loader and the JCB box Backhoe Loader, is supplied with a suitable Quickhitch mounting plate and tail hoses.

Style 2 is available in two sizes with brush widths to suit individual machines. Each is supplied as an assembly complete with custom made Quickhitch mounting plate and tail hoses.

There are models compatible with each of the following JCB machines:

2CX, 3CX, 4CX Backhoe Loaders

Note: Your machine must be equipped with a suitable hydraulic circuit, Consult your JCB disrnbutor if you are in any doubt. Special fitting kits are available.

Equipment Model and Serial Number

The equipment serial number is stamped on the attachment data plate.

Using this Manual

This manual is arranged to give you a good understanding of the equipment and its sate operation, Pead this manual from front to back before using the equipment for the first time. Pay particular attention to all the safety aspects of operating and maintaining the equipment. If there is anything you are unsure about, ask your JCB Distributor or employer. Do not guess, you or others could be killed or seriously injured.

General warnings in this section are repeated throughout the manual, as well as specific warnings. Read all the safety statements regularly, so you do not forget them. Remember that the best operators are the safest operators.
