Powerpacks
The following JCB hydraulic powerpacks are covered by this handbook:
Bever III
Compact III
Trojan III
Multiflow
Micro
HP 300
To operate the range of JCB hydraulic powerpacks efficiently and safely you must know the powerpack and have the skill to use it. If you are a new operator, you should become trained in the skills of using a powerpack before trying to work with it.
It is assumed that personnel carrying out maintenance have at least a sound knowledge of workshop practice, safety procedures and general techniques associated with the repair of hydraulic equipment.
It is expected that components will be thoroughly cleaned and lubricated, where appropriate, also that any opened hose connections will be blanked to prevent entry of dirt and excessive loss of hydraulic fluid.
Serial numbers are stamped on a spacer plate between the engine and the hydraulic tank or chassis on the Micro.
Important: Quote the serial number when you order the parts through your JCB dealer.
European Hydraulic Tool Manufacturers Association
JCB are full members of this organisation. JCB powerpacks are intended to be used to power ETHMA standard attachments or others which have been approved to be the correct flow and pressure rating by a JCB Dealer. The powerpack is equipped with a power on demand ram (POD) to increase engine speed when hydraulic demand is required.
Additionally JCB powerpacks must be used by persons who are trained to use such equipment and the attachments that are used with them.
You should not attempt to change the way in which the Powerpack functions or any components to non genuine parts. In doing this you could endanger yourself and others. Always contact your JCB dealer for parts and servicing. jcb beaver hydraulic power pack parts
