Construction of JCB Vibrating plate VMP64

The vibration plate VMP64 comprises the following main assemblies:

– Lower section
– Upper section
– Guide bar
– Roll-over bar

The lower part comprises the tamping plate and the vibrator bolted to it. The vibrator is a twin shaft directional force exciter with infinitely variable direction of action. The upper part comprises the engine plate and the diesel engine. The guide bar is attached to the upper section by a flexible connection. The upper and lower section are connected flexibly by rubber springs and insulated from each other by a rubber surround.

The plate vibrator is fitted with a roll-over protection bow, which also acts as a mounting.

The following special accessories for Vibrating plate VMP64 are available:

– Attachment skid extensions for increasing the working width.

– Plate dampers, primarily for shaking paving stones, composite paving stones or sidewalk stones into place.
